The Last day of the expedition
So I slacked off after all the hard work of the previous 12 days on the road, this final days entry is a few days lateAfter reaching home around eight pm on the Wednesday, we briefly met up with the Palo Sauna Ry guys, who wanted to check over their baby, and see that everything was alright. Seems so, apart from the fact that it was obiously *very* dirty.
The next morening was another horrible early start to get the sauna to Aalto Venture Garage, for the first part of Startup Sauna's demo day.
As has become the norm for these guys, they had laid on a fantastic breakfast, for the journalists who got to listen to Om Malik. Before the companies broke out and went onto their meetings with the various VC's present.
As everyone was busy networking and meeting, it seemed that only me, Mark from HammerKit and Jaakk, were interesting in taking a sauna.
There was a small change, when I dropped by the kitchen, and the Drill Sargent noticed I was not wearing the correct towel.
After lunch I was joined in the sauna by the Wingman and El Capitan.

After a short dash to get a replacement set of wing mirrors, it was time to tow the sauna to Nostori for the evening's event. One minor moment of panic, was when I was on the motorway, and checked the mirrors, and did NOT see a sauna behind me. Then I remembered it was not meant to be there.
As I arrived back at the garage to connect the sauna, I discovered that I would also have some passengers for the ride, so once again the people carrying capacity of the Landy came in handy.

You can read about the evening's happenings over on the Startrup Sauna blog. Nostori itself proved to be a good venue, with a nice demo space, and the main stage allowing for some true rock star demos.
As I needed to return the sauna for a good clean early the next morning I could not join the after party in Ahjo, but I heard it was a good one.
I finally returned the sauna on Friday morning, and once again the TS landy was nippy and fast from the lights. Well, in comparison to the previous 12 days, where it seemed to always have the giant wooden sail behind it!
