More German Autobahns
After a full evening of sauna, we got up early (again!), then caught tram to Central station, ferry back out to NDSM. Then did the final packed up of the sauna and left Amsterdam. An excellent evening, that netted a couple of extra tanks offuel, moving the Landy and sauna to at least Denmark.
Peter had decided to join the journey (at least until Bremen). It was nice to have someone in the passenger seat, as it made the time pass quickly. We made really good time to Bremen, so Peter called his friend Alex (who had local knowledge and it turned out that Alex was at his parents place) and I dropped him off outside. Alex gave the tip that the Bremen-Hamburg road was horrible for traffic during the week, so good thing I was doing it on a Sunday.
As Peter was available, I made a short interview of him, you can click this link to watch it
I looked at the map and decided to aim for Flensburg but after driving for 8 hours, I pulled over to check the hotel situation.
Saw one, just off the motorway, but not near a town, and another one a bit further down the road, so if the first was full, I could continue and then would have a second chance.
Turns out the hotel was down a rather small road, but managed to get down it without too many problems, and the car park had a few cars in it.
As I was turning around, the receptionist came out and asked what I wanted. So I asked for a room.
Yes they had lots she said.
Then found out that the small front wheel had dropped out of the carrier it lives in somwhere in Germany.
Landy jack to the rescue! Jacked up front of trailer so could dis-connect, and then put down the feet.

The hotel only had me staying, so I had my own receptionist, waiter, and chef. Really nice soup (little expensive, but then it is in the middle of no-where!). The wifi only worked in the reception area, but that was fine as had a big sofa and open fire.
Wrote some blogs, caught up with support team on IRC, then to bed.
In the morning was a fantastic breakfast, again with my personal waiter, before heading out towards Copenhagen.
