I Will Learn to Pitch My Startup in Icelandic

Gibberish?

Indeed, I pledge to learn enough of the weird and wonderful Icelandic language to be able to pitch my startup, Scred, in it. But only if 512 people sign up to the Facebook page! The amount has been doubling quite nicely recently, and just passed 256 fans (with Veera, of the super Penguin Trail project, apparently number 256), so my next target logically has to be 512.

Icelandic is often claimed to be the oldest form of Swedish type languages still spoken and written today. It remained in virtual isolation for centuries and, as you can see from the image, it looks quite unique indeed. You can also hear some Icelandic in some of Björk's songs, and certainly her pronunciation.

Oh, and extra prize given to the person who figures out which page I'm quoting in the picture for this blog post...
