Mike and I have made the hard decision to move the starting date for the Burning Platform expedition. July would have been quite perfect for us, and for getting some positive summer news into the media. However we have had big difficulties pulling sponsors together in a month when most of Finland is closed. Our crowdfunding efforts have helped nudge us onwards, and we'd like to thank everyone who has so far supported us! Please keep doing so. However we are still missing too much to safely push forwards next week.

Not the type to give up, we decided to change the starting date to the 20th of August, when hopefully Finland will be waking up from the summer. We've been discussing some great ideas with our local organisers in Tampere, Jyväskylä and Oulu, and are preparing for some fantastic events. We still need help with those locations, as well as Turku, Salo and Toijala. 

We are set on doing this, and will crawl to the locations if necessary. But please do get in touch if you want to be a part of this passionate story, or help through our expedition store.
