Back on the road

The last day of LeWeb was very quite at the sauna, I think most of the attendees had partied pretty hard the night before smiley

But Kalle from Fluid and Juha from Netprofile poped by for a morning sauna. Once again, the sauna helps the Finns get started for the day.

Towels Drying in the sauna

The day ended, and everyone started to pack up, and the car-park was emptying, so I packed everything up . Which surprisingly took a bit longer than expected, but due to the Tardis-like nature of the Defender, everything fitted in.

Getting out of the car-park was an exercise in backing the trailer up, which one of the security guys helped me with, and then onto the road.  Due to the 15 minutes spent the night before with a paper map, it was not too hard to get out of France, but the toll road was shockingly expensive smiley

Once again, slowly up the motorways, to my friends place near Leuven in Belgium. I had warned him that I would be late, but in all the communication the size of the vehicle (and lack of top speed) had been missed, so It was a bit tricky, as he thought it would fit in front of his house, but not quite.
Luckily there was a spot across the road where the Landy and trailer fit

Overnight spot

But the good thing was that I got to sample a couple of beers from his cellar, before a good nights sleep.

In the morning, I borrowed a hacksaw to cut off the bolt that would not come undone, so the string hack could be retired finally.

Now to Amsterdam, to check out who will come to a dock, on a Saturday night for sauna and startups
