A VC sauna

So the day started off well, it only took 15 minutes to hook the landy back up to the sauna and get on the road. I was expecting it to take much longer as the little front wheel that helps make small adjustments was missing.

Great Hotel

So, through Denmark, towards Odense and Copenhagen.
On the bridge, there were warning signs for high winds, but on the "up side" of the bridge I did not feel/notice them (possibly as I was having to push the accelerator pretty hard to get up the slope). But when coming down the other side and passing the supports, it really rocked the Landy and trailer (I may well have put an extra crease in the seat).

As seems normal for cities, the suggested GPS route was blocked in the city by roadworks. After navigating a couple of small streets, I managed to find the address and a reasonable temporary spot, near a couple of other Landies.

Landy in the Car Park

As we were now parked,  I popped up to the SunStone offices, and asked where was the best place to put the sauna. Turns out that as the basement car park flooded, the outside car-park is kind of "free for use". They were also able to suggest a place to get a new wheel for the sauna.
Kristoffer and Tuomas from Holvi arrived, just as I was about to leave to get a new wheel.

The first shop did  did not sell them, however he directed me to a place that did.
But when it came time to pay, they only accepted Dannish cards or cash. Being a resident of the modern world, I only rarely have cash, so had to ask where the nearest ATM was, and quickly run there to get some of that strange paper stuff, instead of the more normal plastic card.

But now we have a front wheel, so we can easily connect and disconnect the sauna smiley

Back to the car-park and time to fire-up the sauna, for the VC sauna. As the guys said, most unusual to after a meeting, come out to the car-park for a sauna. Thanks to Foodie.fm there was still some snacks and juice left for us to enjoy.
Just after I had finnished my sauna, the owner of one of the Landies came across to chat. Turns out his Landy is made from 4 different donor vehicles, has done over a million km's!
Old landy
As the engine is from a TDi, it will still be moving even after the cocroaches have died off. He also mentioned that he could not see himself buying another car in his life, as the Landy does it all and just keeps going.

After another longish sauna, we hooked up the sauna, and headed off towards Sweden, as it's a long way to go towards Kapelskar for the ferry back to civilization.
